Day 1
I joined SparkPeople.com.
Admitted. Moving on to gushing.

I know I could do better, but for the first day of tracking my food intake, not bad. Now I get to see, in full color, my shit diet. Yay! I only drank 4 glasses of water today! Yay! I suck at being an alive human! How exciting. I’m on something like day 5 for my fitness training. Not sure exactly at this second.
Things I Like About SparkPeople:
- It’s free, so far.
- You get a daily exercise plan of various exercises which includes recommended sets and reps. Amount of weight is up to you.
- You can also choose to see the daily meal plans. They have a vegetarian plan.
- You get to pick your cardio days and your strength training days
- You can search for nutrition information in their database, which includes items other members have entered, or you can enter nutrition information yourself. Rad.
- I swear i saw somewhere that you could form teams…anyone want to be on a team with me!?
- Shows your goals, successes, and failures in big, beautiful, internet technicolor.
I haven’t been using it long enough to find anything I don’t like about it, but I am confident and hopeful that it will stand the test of time. I haven’t used any of the community features because, in general, I hate the internet community. I wish them well, I also wish they would piss off.
I don’t get enough protein…so today for breakfast I had a little bit of turkey sausage. It was good but made me sick to my stomach. Going to have to take some inspiration from their meals for a few days until I can get that under control. I wouldn’t be worrying about it it weren’t for the fact that Hugo and I are shopping for a home gym. We have decided on an Impex Marcy Smith SM4000. It seems to be the best value for the price. I’ve been all over the internet doing research and reading reviews and I’m fairly confident that this will be all we’ll ever need.
The only thing I need to do now, is find my best price on the unit, weights, and freight to get it all here. The machine weighs 400lbs and Hugo wants 500lbs of weights “to start.” Aahahahahahahahehehehehehehhohohohohohohbwhahahahahahahahhhehehehehhee*gasp*
Right. We shall see. I’m Off.
