first, i’m so nervous. second, i’m so excited.

i’m 99% on my way to going to the nashville show. 90% of the work was getting hugo convinced that it was really important for me to take off for a day and a half and go to the show… and of course it is!

i don’t think i’d like to drive down and drive back all in one day. i think i might die if i have to do that…unlike one brave soul who took a bus to a beautiful yet notoriously dangerous city and wandered the streets after dark BY HERSELF. *ahem*

does anyone need a ride!? please? someone? anyone?

theres so much to do between now and then. O_O i need to call my uncle and see if he can find me a decently priced hotel room that’s not in shitville. i’ve got to install my laptop mount so i can use the GPS on the way over and not kill myself trying to manage the touchpad. i need to schedule a tune up at the chevy dealer and have my tires rotated while i’m at it. i’ve got to figure out if i want to be in the pit with all the screaming and flailing. oh right must order tickets. yes. item number ONE.

in other news, llwellyn is having a sale.
my holiday shopping hasn’t all arrived yet. i also forgot about like…3 things i still have to get. i suck at this.

1. i am very nearly done with my christmas shopping. i want to order a few more things for hugo and i need some gift cards for people and i’m done. woot!
2. i have a black bedspread set and pink hello kitty sheets. my lapdesk that i’m typing on, is also hello kitty and it is also pink.
3. i played with a sony DSLR yesterday at compusa. *swoon*
4. we’re trying to get a new dog and i’m so nervous/excited
5. afi was in atlanta and i wasn’t there. sad times. they are going to be in nashville on the 6th of feb and i am so sad because i may not get to go to that one either. i could leave here at 3, drive to nashville, laze about at the venue, watch concert, drive back. i should be in by … 3 or 4 am?
6. i look retarded cause i meant to save this as a draft yesterday and i actually published it with only 6. go bug! (hah! i only looked stupid to grim because i had crossposting off on this. i rock.)
7. we went to a *really* nice place last night and had a really awesome dinner with a friend of ours who runs a B&B in Townsend. It was so nice. i’d like to go back and maybe stay the night.
8. grim and i are going to the jimador to have cheesy goo food delightful times and drink beer
9. i think i’m going to have a pot pie for lunch today
10. i should really be working instead of typing this.
11. i’m totally out of clean socks
12. i like being organized and having the kitchen clean.
13. right now the kitchen isn’t very organized. there is a big ass box of wax and a bunch of supplies scattered on the table and a computer or three laying around. oh and hugo got us a scale for measuring things…like wax and soap base and flour and…stupid things like wine corks (2.5 grams) and 4 (2 grams each) sheets of paper towel.
