My name is Rebecca, aka Beka, but I like being called Bug.

At this moment in time I am a 26 year old Web Designer / IT Slave / Computer Tech residing in Eastern Tennessee. I have never been to college and I have been working full time since i was 18. I am a writer of anything that enters my head(poetry, crap, random strings of words, fiction, etc.). I live with my partner and beau, Hugo, our Doberman Pinschers, Dub Alexander Pancake (5yrs) and Coco Chienelle Pancake (2yrs). Hugo and I have been together since March of 2004.

I listen to a lot of different music, my favorite foods are carbs, and I adore the color gray. I could spend all day wandering through Sephora, but generally wear something I bought at Walgreen’s on sale. I am a bit of a gamer when I have time. My favorite console is the Nintendo Wii but I also have a PS2, a PS3, and a PC. I am a voracious reader and my taste in books is indiscriminate. I play the guitar and have, in my posession, both a Yamaha acoustic and a Fender electric. I drive a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS for pleasure and a 2007 Chevy HHR for business.

I run this site for my own personal amusement. It has moved around and lost some parts, but this site is actually several years old (established circa 1996). I post anything that comes to mind and I think password protected posts are pretentious and obnoxious so you won’t see many (any?) here.

I love Macs. My current machine is a Quad Core 2.66GHz MacPro with 5gb RAM, 30″ Cinema Display, running 10.5, CS3 Design Premium, and a 9 x 12 Wacom Intuos 3. I also have a Core2Duo MacBook that I take everywhere. I also have a Dell Vostro 420 Quad Core 2.8ghz with 2gb RAM that I use to check email with and look for IE display bugs on my websites.

I take tons of pictures with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and a Sony DSC-W120. Check out my Photography page for more on that.
