i am posting this from my very first linux installation. yes, i’ve used it before, but i’ve never been the one to install it, jab at it with sudo, and beat it into submission.

until today. i’ve been working on the video driver since about 7ish EST and it’s now 1:39am. i had to read a metric asston of docs. the main problem was i’m using the 64bit processor distribution which has several different methodologies for getting the nvidia drivers going. if i was running an intel or a 32bit processor, it would have been a little sudo and a little clicking. the universe and i love a challenge.

so…wow. my next task is to get synergy going as this 2 mice and 2 keyboards thing has fried my brain. then? image it before i break it and have to start all over.seriously.

in other news, i am getting busy on #86 of my 101 in 1001. I’m giving myself until the end of June so if things randomly look like garbage, this is why. Also june will be the month of black and white photos, a detox/cleanse in which i hide/purge every bit of crap food we have gathered (within and without), and as much raw vegan food as i can stuff in my face afterward. Except for noodles. I love noodles. Noodles can stay.

i just realized i’ve got at least a handful of things i can mark off my 101 so i think i’m going to do that and head to bed. ahhh. geekery.

i finished my 101 in 1001 list today so i figured it was about time to get serious about it. well…as serious as one can get about something generated by the blogosphere.

i had to find a calculator to figure out when 1001 days from today was.

woke up today at 5:55am after waking up from a bad dream about someone’s mom. worked out. quite hungry. going to go snuggle hugo before he wakes up.
