There is a very strange feeling that comes over me during fall. I really wish I understood it. It’s wistful, energetic, nostalgic… This phenomenon causes an almost instant shift in my psyche. Maybe it was going to school. Maybe it was the cool weather. Maybe it was a past life. Whatever causes this feeling, I am thankful.

Last year I didn’t anything. I thought that maybe I had outgrown Fall and I felt numb through the entire season. In hindsight, I realize that I was simply on a too much medication that was robbing me of my well earned joys and well deserved sorrows. So, my dear readers, you’ll have to forgive me for being so totally overwhelmed with the intensity of my reunion and my obsession with Fall. I’m giddy with it.

I think I understand why I don’t like ‘Crash Love’ very much and it has nothing to do with the album. These tracks would have been fantastic during the summer but they aren’t jiving with my Fall Frame Of Mind. That really isn’t the fault of anyone. I will probably really enjoy it someday…but not today.
