every now and then, myspace is good for something, but god it is so rare that i question the validity of its existence.

i am so full of busy right now. i am hesitant to talk about it because it seems when i do that someone out there in internet land does some eyerolling or something and funky mojo gets flung at my head. then it gets all fucked up. Or. maybe i just suck and can’t keep my shit together any longer than it takes me to write a post. regardless…the awesome…it will rock.

i am re-reading the circle within at night right now. this month has been a book devouring extravaganza. kushiel’s scion. harry potter. vegan cupcakes. principles of beautiful web design. 12 secrets of highly creative women. my wishlist was explosive so i nipped and tucked it into submission. now only 2 pages! *gasp*

i bought another 3 books today via amazon, because i really can’t get enough. i’ve also got a nice sized stack of books that need to be sold. one of them is earth path and i feel like such a failure, but i must be honest with myself. i can’t stand starhawk. sorry, starhawk. i am going to earthfare tomorrow to get supplies for the master cleanse i’m starting this weekend. i thought about going grocery shopping tonight, but i will make due with what we’ve got until the end of the cleanse. 10 days without food is going to be … interesting.

last night i made something super delicious. we had some sliced, frozen bread in the freezer. i stuck a few pieces in the oven under the broiler to toast it up a bit. after it was browned, i tossed it in the food processor. add earth balance, rosemary, thyme, salt. tada. stuffing. then i tossed some cream of mushroom soup over it and some yellow squash. more time in the oven. it was rather delish but SNV™.†

there is going to be lots and lots of awesome things coming soon. i am really excited. it occurs to me suddenly that i have a vast number of things to attend to….right now.

while digging through my junkmail folder i discovered that UC Berkley, Yale, Duke, Princeton and some other people, are offering courses & lectures via podcast. Love.

my ipod is rarely used for music anymore. i do my laundry while listening to Kabbalah to Go™. I work out while listening to Hip Tranquil Chick, Motivation to Move, or FitPod (techno designed to make you move). i cook and dream of frolicking baby goats (just the frolicking, i don’t eat goats [have you ever seen a kid frolick!? you have not lived until you have!]) while listening to geek.farm.life. or Vegetarian Food For Thought. i used to listen to a handful of pagan podcasts, but they either disappeared or they started to suck so i don’t anymore.

i love podcasts almost as much as i love audiobooks. almost.

i didn’t realize how smart my scanner was. i thought it was going to take an eternity for me to scan, crop, resize, and upload all these photos. turns out that when i put 2 in on the glass it saw there were 2 distinctly different images, cropped them accordingly (sorta), and saved them as unique files. goddamn, i love technology.

also if you don’t have this…. you should get it. i hated iPhoto like it was a boil on my ass. grim introduced me to JetPhoto Studio and i have used it on a daily basis ever since. what is nice is that the scanner scans to a folder, so i just go to the folder, add .album to the end of it and suddenly JetPhoto Studio knows that it’s a set. i can double click on the album, upload to flickr, and be off on my way. oh, internet, you are sex.

Moving on! this is me being nice and not totally fucking your layouts all to hell.
