I figure that I’ll go ahead and get this out of the way. I am not buying a MacBook until new ones come out and it may be a while. I’m going to keep using this one…so I bought 2gb RAM, a 250gb hard drive, a laptop cooling pad, and a new iPod and case.
Why an iPod? I couldn’t pass up the price and I want to get movies off of my mac and watch them on the TV. So there went most of my tax refund and I suppose I’ll either give the money back to the bank or sit on it till something comes out and blows my hair back.
more geekery
I am building wordpress themes today along with doing a ton of laundry, glaring at the dogs, and am getting very excited about…stuff. Using the MacPro with the 30″ ACD was pretty rough when it came to -ing. I am experiencing much less eye strain and fatigue. It comes in damn handy when I’m doing everything else I do. I have had zero luck using Illustrator on the notebook…fail like whoa.
Dreamweaver and MAMP work amazingly well and I am perfectly satisfied.
domesticities
I haven’t been able to write over there because 1. i have been swamped and 2. as a result my house looks like a bomb went off inside…perpetually exploding bombs that can walk. We call them Dub and Coco. The kitchen floor is getting harder and harder to clean because Coco has chewed up nearly an entire square foot of the linoleum straight down to the subfloor. Speaking of coco…. she also ate my Constantine DVD ( i have no idea where she got it ) and one of our couch seat cushions. This is a phase and I know she is just…being a dipshit because she’s a puppy and her brain is full of skittles and lightning bugs. Still…STOP IT, DOG.
honesty
I think Coco and Dub will be the last big dogs in our family. They’ve destroyed the yard, the house, and show no signs of ending their reign of filth. I vacuum our kitchen at least once a day and it’s usually a canister full of dog fur. Sometimes I have to do this twice a day. *sigh* I love them immensely but I love having a clean home too.
I am probably fussy because I am tired and sucking at keeping it all together. We’ll see what kind of tune I am whistling tomorrow. :-p
