it’s a cake…that fits in a cup…get it?

despite my better judgment last night, i made cupcakes…with cream cheese frosting.
several points:

  • i do not eat a terribly high amount of sugar in my diet. i eat a lot of carbs and proteins.
  • these cupcakes had literally…… 3 CUPS of sugar in them(including the frosting).
  • i started taking fat burners today which are mostly speed and green tea
  • i’m hypoglycemic so i can usually eat quite a bit of sugar before i get sick (and die)
  • i hadn’t eaten very much yesterday because we had been busy and i am a fat ass.
  • they were pretty small: about as big around as a 50 cent piece and maybe an inch high
  • i had two of these cupcakes and was so sick i was afraid to move off of the couch because i thought i was going to throw up everywhere.
  • but they were very good!!!!
  • i just can’t eat any of them right now because every time i think about it, i get nauseous.
  • i am positive that it was the amount of sugar on an empty stomach (maybe not totally empty, there may have been half a shot of vodka in there) that made me sick and not the fact that they were vegan.
  • also, i was under the impression that if you used self rising flour the baking powder, baking soda, and salt could be omitted. they can if you want your cupcakes to be tiny little hockey pucks that don’t rise. delicious tiny hockey pucks that are crunchy outside like a muffin, but soft and chewy inside like a cake. perhaps i am expecting them to rise more than they are ever going to.
  • i take full responsibility for all issues incurred because of my making delicious vegan treats
  • and will probably do it again, real soon
