Thirteen Reasons I Prefer Books to People

1. They don’t change. Page 185 is always page 185.
2. They don’t take you off of their buddy list.
3. They don’t ignore you all day.
4. They are easy to care for
5. Books can teach you things
6. They can talk down to you, but you can snap them shut and throw them in a fire
7. Books allow an escape.
8. Books usually come from book stores….which is a place with a lot of books in it. books are very community oriented.
9. Most books, even used ones, have a fantastic scent that reminds me of home.
10. There’s nothing like a thick fresh paperback’s smooth pages.
11. There is always one you haven’t had yet.
12. They don’t snap at you on the phone.
13. You can fall in love with one and share it without getting jealous

What is this? I admittedly ripped this idea off from the thursday thirteen. why? cause i think friday thirteen sounds a whole lot cooler than thursday.
