Thirteen Things All About Fondue

- Tomato Fondue: Sounds very pizza-ish and i’m seeing myself dipping onion bagels into this.
- Dilled Garbonzo Fondue: I love garbonzo beans and dill. i can’t see how this could go wrong…except i may be able to live without the nutmeg.
- Laåu haûi saûn: vietnamese seafood hot pot dish. our diet has been decidedly pesco-vegetarian as of late and so far from vegan it is really quite sad. it would be nice if i could find a somewhere to eat lunch that didn’t smother things in cheese and salt or make a totally insane mess out of spare sandwich parts and call it a veggie. enough excuses, i just suck.
- Mushroom Fondue: it’s vegan! +5 points.
- Lunchbox Fondue: oh the possibilities of noncheese cheese.
- Reese’s Fondue: because a fondue list isn’t complete without chocolate.
- Mongolian Hotpot: i think doing vegetables in this and a few substitions here and there would make this rad.
- Mexican Fondue: anything that gives me an excuse to eat avacados is just fine with me.
- Hot Raspberry Dip: i am conflicted as most of these dippables are in season during the summer, but who wants to eat hot goo when it’s 95 outside?
- My Fondue Pot: cause burning the house down with sterno is bad.
- Beer Cheese Fondue: !!! i just realized this would be awesome to dip the morning star farms breakfast sausages in. as an aside, what in the hell is nonalcoholic beer and more importantly, what would be the point of that?
- Thai Coconut-Lime Fondue: another one that would be completely hit or miss. i would probably sub the pork with some ginger marinated tofu cubes that had been pan seared.
- Camembert and Pesto Fondue: not sure how to feel about that one.
What is this? I admittedly ripped this idea off from the thursday thirteen. why? cause i think friday thirteen sounds a whole lot cooler than thursday.
